In this role, you will be responsible for printing inventory cycle counts, collaborating with wage inventory counters, entering results into SAP, performing root cause analysis, and closing counts. Key Responsibilities:
Print and distribute inventory cycle counts.
Collaborate with wage inventory counters and verify results on the floor (~50% of the time).
Enter inventory results into SAP and analyze discrepancies.
Conduct root cause analysis and close counts.
Implement inventory audits and ensure compliance with company and client requirements.
Prepare and review perpetual inventory reports and analyze inventory data for accuracy.
Coordinate daily, monthly, and annual inventory audits to ensure financial precision.
Monitor and improve manufacturing and material processes (e.g., Return Goods Authorization and cycle counting).
Participate in factory teams to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
Address inventory-related issues, resolve questions, and implement corrective actions.
Provide work direction to wage personnel and lower-level Inventory Analysts.
Support and coach less experienced team members.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in inventory management in a manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with administrative and data entry roles, particularly related to inventory.
Root cause and corrective action analysis experience required.
Background in warehouse or manufacturing (cycle counts, forklift, shipping/receiving) is beneficial but not required.
Skills:
Proficiency in SAP is strongly preferred but can be trained (experience in other systems required).
Must be skilled in Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
