Sr. Tools Engineer needed for Full Time opportunity with Randstad Digitals client in Bellevue, WA.
Our client is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Tools Engineer adept at crafting game tools and pipelines to bolster development across multiple teams.
The role entails designing and coding software for our client's Unreal Editor tools and pipelines. It necessitates the adept application of robust engineering principles to foster long-term pipeline investments supporting various game teams. As a Senior Tools Engineer, you're expected to proactively address complex workflow and pipeline issues with resourcefulness and efficiency.
WHO YOU ARE:
? Highly proficient in Unreal Editor.
? Experienced in game shipment, familiar with challenges across all development phases.
? Stay updated on technology advancements and game development methodologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
? Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
? Minimum of 5 years in related work.
? Shipped or directly supported shipping of multiple game titles.
? Shipped or directly supported shipping of at least 1 game built on Unreal Engine.
? Developed tools around middleware products like Jira, P4, Backtrace, CDNs, Jenkins, etc.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
? Experience in crafting tools around monitoring and reporting software such as Ops Genie, Data Dog, etc.

? Collaborate with multiple game teams to identify pipeline, tool, and workflow gaps.
Write and implement clean, sustainable code in C++, C#, Python, and Blueprint.
? Aid teams in leveraging available tools and technology for optimized workflows.
? Work with outsourcing teams to create content verification and external pipeline tools.
? Collaborate with central tech teams to construct fully automated tooling as necessary.
? Occasionally embed with game teams to address their specific needs.
