2 Full-Time Seasonal H-2A Jobs available 03/11/2024 - 10/30/2024. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform the work described in this job description and must be available for the entire period of employment specified in box 3 and 4, page 1. Workers are needed to raise and care for our honeybees. The worker will build and maintain beehives, extract and bottle honey, remove hive parasites and maintaining the health of the hive. Workers will assemble beehives to the desired specifications, force bees from a hive using a smoke pot to inspect the hive, destroy excess queen bee cells to prevent the division of a colony, treat hives for parasites and remove vermin, extracting honey from beehive frames. Workers will also cultivate queen bees to sell to other apiaries as well as split colonies.
