where you come in. We are looking for a Production Supervisor in our
Richland Center, WI. Job Summary: Directs the development and
implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production
goals, quality, and cost objectives. will be responsible for providing
immediate supervision to a team of approximately 50 employees on 2nd
shift. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction,
equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Plans and administers
procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations regarding and,
at higher levels, controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect
labor. Develops schedules and personnel requirements for assigned areas.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient
operation of the function. Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
This position is responsible for directing the development and
implementation of production goals in safety, quality, customer
delivery, and financial improvement. Developing capacity plans and
output forecasts based upon complex customer demand trends and variable
labor content per production order is critical to the role. Developing
and executing resource planning in a high product mix, highly flexible
and customized manufacturing process while selecting, developing, and
evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production
team is required. This work consists of planning and administering
operating policies, procedures, and practices that foster employee
engagement in a continuous improvement driven work environment. This
work requires attention to detail, managing multiple priorities and
taking actions which may encompass but not limited to the following:
