OB Triage Clinic Nurse
The OB Triage Clinic Nurse provides direct nursing care to pregnant patients in an ambulatory-based triage setting. They assess, triage, and provide interventions for pregnant women who are experiencing concerns such as preterm labor, labor onset, bleeding, high-risk pregnancy symptoms, or fetal monitoring issues. The OB Triage Nurse plays a critical role in the initial evaluation and management of obstetric patients, ensuring a timely, safe, and effective plan of care, in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four year college degree program in Nursing; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in Nursing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The position also requires possession of a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan. May require a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and/or work experience in a particular area of nursing or health care.

Work hours are typically 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM but may vary as necessary to accommodate clinic operations.

The job requires significant physical effort and involves lifting and maneuvering patients, extensive walking and standing and fine manual dexterity 26-75% of the time; visual and aural acuity necessary to monitor patient care.
Exposure to human blood, serum, and other body fluids; and materials covered under Universal Precautions; TB risk or work within three (3) feet of patients in a health care setting; wear a respirator.
