We are the public transportation agency of the Portland metro area. As a Light Rail Vehicle Operator, your primary duty is the smooth operation of trains on our iconic MAX Light Rail system. Every day you get people to where they want to go and help keep our region moving.
Requirements:
2 years' experience as a subway or streetcar operator
18 years and older
Historically, becoming a Light Rail Vehicle Operator required demonstrated experience as a Bus Operator. As the first external opening to the public, this is a new and unique opportunity to get in the driver's seat faster than before!
