Job Description:
CASHIER
Primary Purpose
The Cashier role is critical to the overall impression that a customer receives during their visit to Coach by applying the Coach service skills. A Cashier's ability to offer friendly, efficient service is vital to ensuring a positive customer experience. Cashiers must be able to assess the store environment, understand the needs of their customer (and any waiting customer) and match their service appropriately.
PROFILE
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to:
Open registers and prepare all the forms and supplies necessary for collections;
Welcome and support customers throughout the collection process;
Proceed to collection in cash or any other mean of payment;
Handle authorizations from banks;
Handle register counts, register closings and preparation of bank deposits;
Handle tax removal and cancellation of invoices;
Follow-up cash reports;
Support the sales team in the resolution of customer complaints;
Handle customer's requests with a constant concern for customer satisfaction;
Participate to the morning briefing and be proactive;
Handle customer files by updating information according to existing procedures;
Collaborate with sales associates to achieve sales;
Improve customer experience provided.
The accomplished individual will possess:
A previous experience in retail environment (experience in luxury is a plus);
A strong ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff members.
