    Finance Director <p>We are in need of a <strong>Finance Director </strong>to join our team located in Spokane, Washington. The chosen candidate will play a key role in supporting the CEO in financial implementation and will be responsible for developing financial policies, systems, and procedures. This role also includes overseeing the Finance Department and providing tools and guidance for financial planning and analysis. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• Develop and implement fiscal policies and procedures that provide appropriate internal controls and meet the requirements of funding agreements.</p><p>• Design and maintain a centralized accounting records and reporting system that adheres to generally accepted accounting standards for nonprofits.</p><p>• Oversee the processing of all receipts, disbursements, journal entries, and other fiscal records, and supervise all payroll functions.</p><p>• Develop, prepare, and present internal financial reports for management, the Board of Directors, and funders.</p><p>• Provide leadership in the development of the annual budget, periodic revisions, and monthly forecasts.</p><p>• Guide Program/Project Managers in understanding their program budgets and how to use financial reports as a tool for planning and managing activities.</p><p>• Review all project and program proposals for financial impact and make recommendations to the CEO.</p><p>• Establish a system to assure proper handling of finances for projects for which the organization is the Fiscal Agent.</p><p>• Maintain financial oversight of property, facilities, equipment, and other assets.</p><p>• Participate in the Executive Management Team and staff the Board of Directors Audit and Finance Committee.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>SALARY RANGE</strong>: $92,000 - $115,000</p><p><br></p><p><strong>BENEFITS OFFERED: </strong></p><p>- Healthcare Benefits: Medical Dental and Vision</p><p>- Other Insurance: none</p><p>- Retirement Plan: 401k</p><p>- PTO: 2 weeks</p>
