We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant in the non-profit sector located in Syracuse, New York. This role will involve a variety of accounting tasks, including the routine operations of the accounts department, and the management of accounts receivable.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately process accounting entries to maintain up-to-date records
• Utilize accounting software systems such as Dynamics NAV and Sage Software for efficient account management
• Conduct thorough account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy
• Handle vouchering duties to support financial transactions
• Compile basic reports to present financial status and transactions
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department
• Oversee accounts payable (AP) to ensure timely payments
• Utilize Adobe Acrobat for document management and review
• Implement ERP solutions for integrated business process management
• Ensure accurate account coding to align with financial standards.

• Proficiency in Account Coding is necessary
• Must be familiar with Accounting Software Systems
• Ability to use Adobe Acrobat is required
• Experience with Dynamics NAV is preferred
• Knowledge of ERP Solutions will be beneficial
• Strong skills in Account Analysis are needed
• Capability to manage Accounting Entries is required
• Understanding of general Accounting Functions is essential
• Experience in Account Reconciliation is necessary
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) is important
• Proficiency in Sage Software is a plus
