General Hospitalist attending related responsibilities
- Direct patient care on the Inpatient Medicine Ward at Bellevue Hospital Center;
- Complete end of rotation house staff evaluation.
- Supervise and teach house staff and medical students;
- Attend multidisciplinary rounds on a daily basis;
- Facilitate the expedient discharge of all patients on the service;
- Review all pertinent lab and test results;
- Perform a full clinical evaluation on all new patients to the service within 24 hours of admission;
- Clinically evaluate all patients on a daily basis and one (1) weekend day per week;
Clinic attending responsibilities
- Direct patient care in the APCC;
- House staff supervision and precepting in the APCC;
- Review all pertinent lab and test results;
- Attend faculty meetings and participate in journal clubs;
- Complete annual house staff evaluations.
