About Cascades Greenpac mill Started in 2013, Greenpac Mill is a state-of-the-art 100% recycled linerboard mill in Niagara Falls, NY, supplying the corrugated box industry. Thanks to numerous technological advances, Greenpac manufactures one of the best linerboards in the industry and is a leader in terms of sustainable development. What your day will look like: * Perform both scheduled and emergency repairs on mill equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards. * Maintain high-speed automation equipment, adhering to designed standards. * Troubleshoot and repair electrical distribution systems, utilizing PLCs and HMIs, including basic programming skills. * Apply knowledge of instrumentation, covering pressure transmitters, level indicators, RTDs, and valve positioners. * Troubleshoot and repair Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). * Use basic hand tools, electrical test equipment, and conduct pneumatic/hydraulic circuit troubleshooting. * Evaluate products, troubleshoot processes, and facilitate repairs or adjustments for enhanced line performance. * Repair electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic devices. * Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment throughout the mill. * Safely use hand and power tools, aerial lift equipment, and fall protection after certification. * Contribute to a robust safety culture. * Demonstrate strong communication skills and a collaborative team-player attitude. * Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and distribution systems up to 4160V. * Showcase a strong troubleshooting background in both AC and DC controls. * Be familiar with AC/DC Electronic/Programmable Motor Drive Systems and Variable Speed Drives (VSDs). * Troubleshoot control loops, magnetic and electronic motor controls, timers, counters, sequencers, and Allen-Bradley Programmable Controllers. Experience and qualifications: * Experience in electro-mechanical maintenance background in a large-scale heavy industrial manufacturing environment * Installation, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment and distribution systems Blueprint/schematic reading, access and read electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings * SAP experience is ideal * Experience with Siemens PCS-7 or equivalent * Experience with Profibus communication protocol * 1-2 years experience ideally in a manufacturing background * Paper Mill or web-process experience a plus. * Must be available to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends and holidays, overtime, and call-ins To apply, forward cover letter and resume to: angelo_lang@greenpacmill.com
