Description

7pm - 7:30am/ Full Time/ 36 Hours 

Salary range - $16.10-$20.53

  

We're seeking a Cardiac Monitor Tech for Emory University Hospital, responsible for being a capable technician who cares about the quality of their work an ensuring the safety for all patients. 

This individual will:    

  • Observes, interprets, and records the telemetry recordings for monitored patients. May monitor alarms where applicable.
  • Delivers and applies telemetry boxes to patients.
  • Ensures correct patient is being monitored.
  • Reports significant observations of cardiac rhythms and other alarm information to the health care team.
  • Communicates pertinent information to patients as necessary.
  • Produces accurate and complete documentation. Complies with handoff communication process.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified rhythm analyst technician (CRAT) preferred.
  • Successful completion of an approved arrhythmia course preferred or successfully passing an arrhythmia exam on hire.
