Job Description

 
5 Fulltime H-2A Seasonal Jobs available 4/1/2024- 12/3/2024. Duties may include: Operate machinery and equipment to fertilize, cultivate, and spray green houses, crops, and plants such as flowers, trees/shrubs, annuals, perennials, hay, pumpkins, and corn. Inspect plants and bud counts to assess quality. Spray plants and flowers with prescribed herbicides, fungicides, or pesticides to control disease and insects. Tend to livestock (goats): guarding from predatory animals and from poisonous plants, feeding, and maintaining farmlands and fields & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. Requirements: * Must be 18 years of age. * Lifting requirement of 50 lbs. * Exposure to extreme temperatures, repetitive movements, * Extensive pushing/pulling, extensive walking, and frequent stooping/bending.
