Under direct supervision/guidance, the engineering intern candidate will assist the engineering team in the development and analysis of the manufacturing processes and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor. Key Responsibilities * Maintain a safe working environment * Work with employees on the production floor to improve the overall manufacturing processes by implementing engineered solutions * Provide support for operational and quality issues as required * Assist team with identification of areas for improvement and suggests solutions * Prepares standard reports/ documentation to communicate results of projects

Qualifications * Must be currently enrolled student * Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills required * Demonstrate ownership of projects including acceptance of responsibility, pride in work performed, and willingness to learn * Familiar with Microsoft Office software package

Eligible to work 40 hours a week during your CO-OP semesters

Preferred but Not Required Skills * Experience with 2D/3D modeling software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) * Statistical Analysis experience (MiniTab, JMP, RStudio) * Mechanical skill set acquired by hobbies, clubs or past experiences * Electrical skill set acquired by hobbies, clubs or past experiences
