Required Skills:
Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Landscape Architecture or related field required
Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) preferred
Minimum of 5 years of related consulting experience required
Minimum of 2 years of project management required
Prior experience with mentoring and managing a team, or desire to step into that role required
Strong organizational and communication skills required
We are looking for someone to be a hands-on manager providing resource management to the highly functioning team

Job Description:
MSA has an opportunity for a Team Leader - Engineering at any of the following offices: Baraboo, WI, Madison, WI, Mequon, WI, Milwaukee, WI, Duluth, MN, or St. Paul, MN. This person will provide management to a high performing team focused on landscape architecture, waterfronts, and recreational development projects. They will be expected to scope and fee project efforts, work directly with clients and aid in mentoring existing staff.




The work you may do

Team management including mentoring, professional development of team, managing workload of staff, setting priorities, managing the team resources, and team financial management.
Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting, contracting, design, and QA/QC
Project design work for various project types and sizes
Working with MSA leadership on strategic initiatives and business strategies
Client relations including internal discipline leaders as well as external clients
Leading projects from concept through design for landscape architecture, waterfronts, parks, public spaces, site design, and recreational trails
