Description
The Patient Care Coordinator for the Neurodiagnostics Laboratory Services department performs a variety of administrative duties in support of the EEG/EMG department to ensure operational objectives are met. Answers phone calls, schedules patient appointments, prepares and disseminates a high volume of reports, coordinates with outreach site staff, maintains computerized EMG/EEG technician schedules and coordinates information on behalf of MCN's providers. Works in conjunction with MCN's registration staff to ensure that all patient visits are preauthorized and registered. This position is full-time and works in Golden Valley location 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday.





Position Requirements
We seek a high school graduate (or GED equivalent) who has at least two years of related medical administrative support experience in a medical office setting. Must have knowledge of medical terminology and experience working with an electronic health record, Epic preferred. Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong Excel skills required. Must be patient centered and have a strong customer service orientation. Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task required.
