JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: This position is located in the METRICS
Center, which provides technical assistance to School-Based Mental
Health Provider training programs nationwide. Nearly 300 training
programs will have access to technical assistance from METRICS related
to best practices in recruiting, training, and retaining mental health
professionals in K-12 educational settings. METRICS will also support
training programs in gathering and submitting grant outcome data. Under
the guidance of the METRICS director, this position will deliver
technical assistance and support to training program grantees across all
tiers of support. Development coaches will also implement engagement
strategies to promote grantee involvement with METRICS. The ideal coach
will have experience in the training of school mental health
practitioners. This may be from within university settings, such as
instructing courses and advising students, or from experience within
applied settings, such as supervising students completing clinical
practica or internships. Coaches will work with schools, districts,
states, and institutes of higher education in virtual, hybrid, and
in-person settings to disseminate best practices for recruiting,
training, coaching, and retaining school-based mental health
