Position Overview:With supervision, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator performs work of moderate complexity in Human Resources and performs related work as assigned. They will provide administrative support for a variety of Human Resources (HR) programs. This position will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to support the daily needs of candidates and employees.

This is considered an essential onsite role, which requires onsite attendance Monday through Friday at our Thief River Falls, MN location.
Responsibilities:
Seeking a highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented individual to

Manage the administrative aspects of recruiting:

Schedule, monitor and escalate background checks and drug screens (currently 10-15 hours per week)

Schedule, update and confirm interviews; coordinate candidate travel for interviews

Review and update job postings

Complete I-9s for new hires and reverifications of I-9s as required

Set up, review and document assessments

Approve relocation and Talent Scout bonuses, complete 8850 reports and legal name change documentation

MyDKC tasks: merge duplicate candidates, purge records, update contact data on applications

Support the communication needs of the team: Act as point person on site to assist candidates coming to interview, monitor Careers mailbox, send new hire communications, respond to internal and external questions, etc.

Will have capability to flex up when required to review resumes, conduct preliminary phone screens, provide tours, and assist with applications.

Coordinate all aspects of transitions of work and hiring events generally.

Coordinate and attend career fairs.

Ability to manage confidential and privileged information discretion and common sense.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

HS diploma, GED or equivalent (some college preferred)

Experience working with customers in person and over the phone

High comfort level with technologies: MS Office Suite, Workday, Job boards such as LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, others

Experience in recruiting event settings: job fairs, career fairs, hiring events

Important attributes for the successful TA Coordinator are: passion for helping people, genuine curiosity and ability to continually learn, and outstanding attention to details
Tools/Systems/Software used in this role:

MS Office Suite

HR databases and applicant tracking systems.

External recruitment websites (i.e. Indeed, MN Works, LinkedIn, Handshake, etc.)

Compliance and vendor screening portals
Physical Requirements:

Generally, spend the workday sitting or standing at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse, screen and headset.

Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body
