The Eye Institute OR RN supports surgical practices within the practices by providing care across the continuum including pre-anesthesia assessments, pre-procedure phone calls, patient intake, circulating cases pre- and post-operative care and teaching.
What we do at UW Medicine Eye Institute Operating Room:
Eye surgery- cataract, glaucoma procedures
Oculofacial plastic and orbital surgery Requirements:
Have/obtain Washington state nursing license
Two or more years nursing experience
Current BLS
Operating room or recovery room experience
Have/obtain ACLS
In addition, position will be required to make post op phone calls as needed
