Job Description:
Manage a team of senior level IT employees in ensuring adherence to all IT processes, policies and procedures including IT security. Provide input to development of IT strategies. Responsible for team financial management including AOP, budget management and forecasting. Work with business analysts, architects, technical experts and software vendors on the solution requirements, design, configuration, functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the applications. Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant vendors and work with vendors to improve application functionality and resolve difficult functionality issues. Perform Solution Assessment and Validation to assess proposed solutions in order to determine how closely they meet requirements and if they will deliver the desired business outcomes. Determine and document optimum application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications. Configure and verify complex application setup and configuration. Remain current on emerging application and solution trends and functionality and provide functional expertise for assigned applications and systems. Perform complex analysis of requirements in order to identify the relationships and interdependencies between requirements, prioritize requirements, and predict likelihood of success. Partner with process owners, business analysts, systems analysts and architects to gather, document and review functional, architecture and technical requirements and define application functional designs. Lead the creation and management of functional specifications for a given project from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the program, application, or complete solution. Create and modify IT solutions applying industry defined System Development Methodologies. Compile and present Management Reports on performance including metrics and deliverable status, and communicate status to senior IT and business management.
