We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Chargebacks Analyst in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry, located in Durham, North Carolina. As a Chargebacks Analyst, you will be involved in various tasks, such as analyzing and processing Distributor and Wholesaler Chargebacks, collaborating with different teams, and managing SOX compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and process Distributor and Wholesaler Chargebacks
• Collaborate with different teams to create new agreements and ensure the standardization of Chargeback terms
• Work alongside the SAP and Finance teams to test automation solutions and enhance processes
• Handle and monitor SOX compliance and process improvement for Chargebacks
• Develop and optimize the reconciliation of Chargeback accounts and review accrual rates
• Work with the Account Receivables team to manage and clear any disputes with distributors
• Analyze and investigate any variances; liaise with internal and external partners for dispute resolution
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures for main processes
• Support the GPO automation project by providing suggestions for improvement and testing
• Serve as a backup processor for GPO analysis and assist with payments and reporting on a quarterly basis.
• Proficient in various accounting functions, including but not limited to financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in accrual accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Experience in auditing, preferably within the Health Pharm/Biotech industry, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Familiarity with budget processes, able to develop, analyze, and adjust budgets as necessary.
• Skilled in account reconciliation, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly and accurately.
• Proficiency in SAP HANA, able to effectively use this system for various financial operations and reporting.
• Strong ability to use Excel formulas for financial calculations, data analysis, and reporting.
• Experience in handling chargebacks, understanding the process, and resolving related issues effectively.
• Knowledge of SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, ensuring all financial operations adhere to these standards.
