offering a Buyer/Planner position. This position will play a key role in

success. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities for this position
include, but are not limited to, the following: \* Place purchase orders
with suppliers and follow up when necessary to avoid stockouts. \*
Ensure accuracy of purchase order due dates. \* Promise customer orders
based on the availability of material and capacity. \* Release
production orders to manufacturing based on material availability. \*
Provide information to customer service regarding order status. \* Work
with manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery of products. \* Evaluate,
recommend, and implement improvements to lower inventory, reduce
stockouts, and to improve on-time delivery. \* Maintain Master Data
information in SAP. \* Create and/or publish planning reports as
required. \* Complete special projects and assignments as required.
Background & Skills The ideal candidate possesses these skills: \*
Bachelor\'s Degree in Supply Chain & Operations Management or related
field \* APICS certification or commitment to attain \* Strong desire to
learn and to continuously improve skills \* Analytical and process
orientated \* Strong drive to improve processes \* Professionalism in
all aspects and situations, especially when dealing with customers,
suppliers and co-workers. \* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel,
