This postion(Shift 8:00am-6:00pm)  Driver for a Taxi Company located in the Pascagoula, Mississippi area for Thursday-Sunday. 1.   Duties will include but will not be limited to: Picking up, transporting and dropping of customers with your own Private Owned Vehicle (POV); Handling cash; Making change; Vehicle maintenance and upkeep; Multi-tasking (receiving dispatch calls, maintaining active call log); Utilize GPS systems and other technology. Qualifications and Requirements: Must have a High School Diploma or GED; Must be at least 21 years of age or older due to company insurance requirements; Must have a valid Mississippi driver's license (Class D); Must have knowledge of and experience in the use of GPS systems and other technology; A Mississippi DOT physical is required (Short Form); Must have knowledge of the local area or knowledge of the use of a GPS system; Must be able to sit for long periods of time; Must be able to speak and write English; Must be able to drive defensively; Must have a personal cell phone. May be subject to and be required to submit to a background check and drug screen; Without exception applicants must have a current DOT Physical Card; Rate of pay is 50%. Work hours will vary per week. Must have your own vehicle and Insurance.
