    We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk in the Education industry based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Your role will primarily involve handling tasks related to account reconciliation, invoice processing, and maintaining accounts payable records.


    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately processing payments for invoices, ensuring all details are correct

    • Regularly conducting account reconciliation to identify any discrepancies

    • Handling Accounts Payable (AP) tasks in a timely manner

    • Running checks regularly to uphold the financial integrity of the organization

    • Utilizing Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for maintaining and analyzing financial data

    • Correctly coding invoices and assigning them to the right budget line

    • Performing data entry tasks to ensure all customer and financial data is accurately recorded

    • Responding to customer inquiries about their accounts and providing excellent customer service

    • Regularly monitoring customer accounts, identifying any issues, and taking appropriate action

    • Ensuring all invoice processing tasks are completed efficiently and in line with company policies.

    • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.
    • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is essential.
    • Ability to conduct Check Runs effectively is necessary.
    • Must be skilled in Coding Invoices.
    • Data Entry skills are mandatory.
    • Experience in Invoice Processing is necessary.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
    • Knowledge of QuickBooks is essential.
