Job Summary:
- Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals as well as other medications to patients and performs the diagnostic study per physician orders.
Job Duties:
- Administers radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.
- Processes data and enhances digital images using advanced computer technology.
- Provides images, data analysis and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures.
- Evaluates images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation.
- Processes the images for radiologist review.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum EducationCertificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology Program required.

Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire or must obtain with 90 days of employment.
License: Certified and in good standing with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Minimum Work ExperienceSix months experience involving a wide array of nuclear medicine procedures.
