Job Description

 
6 fulltime H-2A seasonal jobs available 04/08/2024 - 11/25/2024. The Farm Laborers will drive tractors/trucks and perform a variety of crop raising duties pertaining to lettuce, spinach and cabbage. Plow, harrow, plant, hoe, weed, fertilize, cultivate, spray and harvest using a variety of farm machinery. Move irrigation pipe, lift fertilizer bags. Load and unload irrigation pipe from farm trailer. Maintain/repair farm implements used in planting/harvesting crops from field to storage. The workers will also load and transport harvested crops from field to storage. Pick stones, clean out and repair fence line. Work in all weather conditions. Ability to lift 75 lbs. 3 months of verifiable experience. Must be able to work in cold, wet, hot, and humid weather, and be able to work on their feet in bent, stooped, and crouched positions for long periods of time. 60 Hours/week. Additional hours required as necessary based on weather and crop progression. Hours may vary based on weather and crop conditions. Requirements: * 3 months of verifiable experience. * Random drug testing may be required at employer expense post-hire. * Lifting requirement of 75 lbs. * Employer will train. * Exposure to extreme temperatures. * Repetitive movements, extensive pushing/pulling, extensive walking, and frequent stooping.
