Title: Receptionist Department: Day Habilitation Reports: Director of the Day Services Program FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Salary: $18.00 per hour Position Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for the receptionist desk, carrying out general administration duties and will be required to assist with the day to day running of the program. We require a lively, enthusiastic person who can copy under pressure to work in our busy accommodation office. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the coverage of receptionist duties of other facilities as requested by management Responsible for caring out the day to day administration of the front office, including answering telephones, emails, sorting and distribution of mail and faxes. Assist the Director with the day to day running of the programs at the assigned facility. Provide administrative support to the programs supervisors (this means that she will be responsible for the typing of the reports provided by the supervisors) Ensure that the facility is kept clean and in order at all times Responsible for the order of supplies Ensure that the front office functions are running effectively on a daily basis. Report any issue regarding occurrences on the facility to the Director Work on other projects as assigned by management Listed is an overview of the Responsibilities: Responsible for physical Residence upkeep through: maintenance checks, fire extinguisher/smoke alarm checks, seasonal equipment checks (air conditioners, boilers and screens etc.) Review all food requisitions and maintain inventory. Ensure all food noted on the menu is available for the consumers at all times. Responsible for meeting with the Dietician to ensure that consumer nutritional needs are met. Ensure that residents daily goals are implemented, and data is properly maintained. Ensure that residence vehicles are maintained, and travel log is documented. To be knowledgeable of all required emergency procedures so as to provide leadership during the practice or actual drills. Qualifications: Possess a minimum of a High School Degree with two (2) years experience working with the developmentally disabled community, preferred to be: SCIP Certified, medication administration certificate.
