A boutique Litigation Firm located in The Heights is seeking a proactive and responsible Legal Assistant to join our close-knit team for a temporary assignment lasting several weeks.

    Our firm opened its doors in April 2024 and focuses on complex commercial litigation. We are a team driven by empowerment, accountability, and excellence. With three attorneys and one legal assistant, we foster a collaborative environment where integrity and professionalism are paramount.


    The Role:

    The ideal candidate for this position will possess strong organizational skills and a proven ability to manage priorities under tight deadlines. The right fit is someone who values accountability, works with integrity, and demonstrates strong technical skills in state and federal e-filing. Experience with Clio and familiarity with Dallas and Harris County filings are a plus.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Handle e-filing in state and federal courts accurately and promptly.
    • Use Clio to manage cases and assist attorneys in staying organized.
    • Prepare and file legal documents as needed.
    • Demonstrate accountability by asking the right questions and ensuring follow-through on all assigned tasks.
    • Work independently and with integrity to maintain the firm’s high standards.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have experience with state and federal e-filing.
    • Familiarity with Dallas and Harris County systems is a bonus.
    • Proficiency in Clio or a similar legal case management platform.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work reliably and responsibly, especially in a fast-paced environment.


    Schedule:

    • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
    • Available for several weeks on a contract basis
