Duties/Responsibilities * Safe operation of vehicles owned by Reid Petroleum. * Ensure compliance with company, DEC and EPA regulations regarding the transportation, loading and un-loading and handling of petroleum products. * Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicles, report concerns immediately. * Maintain compliance with company, DEC and EPA regulations regarding mandatory accurate and legible reports. * Represent Reid Petroleum in a professional manner by performing exemplary customer service skills at all times. Physical Demands * Work a 52 hour work week, overtime paid for any time over 40 hours. * Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and reach for long periods of time. * Ability to drive long distances. * Ability to read, write and basic math skills. * Ability to follow written and oral directions. * Ability to withstand the effects of adverse weather conditions. * Ability to report information (written or electronic) correctly. * Ability to lift 75 pounds. * No sensory aversion to petroleum products. * Valid NYS Drivers License that meets company policy. * Comply with all guidelines under the Drug-Free Workplace Act. * Comply with all guidelines under DOT regulations. * Work near moving mechanical parts. * Fumes or airborne particles. * Toxic or caustic chemicals. * Works with limited supervision. Requirements Minimum Qualifications * Valid Class A NYS drivers license with no restrictions, Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements which meets with company policy. * High School Diploma or equivalent. * 21 years of age. * General knowledge of vehicle maintenance. * 3-5 years experience delivering petroleum products.
