The General Manager for Roush Engine Products will have profit and loss responsibility and will lead and implement a strategic business development and sales strategy for existing and new business opportunities. The role will focus on the engine and chassis business, exploring multiple engine configurations and power sources. The General Manger for Roush Engine Products will grow the business with a strategic business plan that utilizes the “One Roush” strategy. This role is an onsite role based out of Livonia, MI.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Full Profit and Loss responsibilities.
- This position and its duties are heavily based in leadership and relationship development.
- Work with key stakeholders to define a vision and strategy to maintain the integrity of our hallmark brand and drive profitable growth.
- Lead a cross functional team to execute the business, which includes:
- Engineering
- Program Management
- Sales
- Marketing
- Quality
- Manufacturing
- Supply Chain Management
- Material Planning
- Build and maintain high-level relationships, which includes:
- Customers
- Stakeholders
- Internal Functional Peers
- Suppliers
- Critical strategic alliances with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in multiple industries
- Capable of presenting ROUSH message at industry level, on a global stage, with press and to stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Exceptional focus on cultural development and conflict management.
- Play a key role in the management team as a leader in the business with a high level of visibility.
- Must be willing and able to identify world-class talent at all levels.
- Development of functional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ability to embrace process while inspiring innovation.
- Must be exceptional with communication of plan and articulation of vision, and constantly willing to hold customers, peers, team, stakeholders accountable to the plan.
- Lead evaluation of organic vs. acquisition growth.
- Budget management and product development investment excellence, as these investments tend to be high risk.
