As a full time, nonexempt CPS Solutions LLC Specialty Pharmacy Liaison at Dayton Children's Hospital - Retail Pharmacy, you will work within the clinics to engage the providers and patients to improve continuity of care across the system. You will consult with each patient within the clinic, with the goal being to provide specialty pharmacy services through the specialty pharmacy. This position acts a liaison between the specialty pharmacy, providers and patients and is responsible for assisting the specialty pharmacy with data entry, financial assistance, prior authorizations and updating clinical information.

Schedule: This full time, nonexempt position will work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 9:00am-5:30pm.

About the Facility: In June 2017, the eight-story patient tower located in the center of Dayton Children's main campus opened to provide state of the art care for patients. To date, this is the largest project in the hospital's history. In order to build this new building and transform care for kids in the region, hospital leadership made a commitment to remain local with the project. Over 90 percent of the project was completed by local vendors, showcasing our commitment to the people, families and sustainability of our region. Our founders were pioneers who were inspired to create a local, specialized facility to serve the needs of our community's children. Today we are continuing to look for ways to be pioneers and go above and beyond in patient care. All with kids at the center of everything we do. CPS Solutions LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions LLC.

About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy is open 24/7/365.

Required Qualifications:


High school diploma or GED
Current Ohio Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
Through training and/or experience, possess necessary knowledge to provide oversight of medication regimens for the patient populations treated in the facility including a knowledge of dosing for specific age populations
Experience in specialty or outpatient pharmacy, and clinical pharmacy support for clinical programs preferred
Exposure to managed care preferred
Proficient computer skills using pharmacy systems and Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel

Specialized Knowledge/Skills


Independence with regard to communication with providers and patients
Ability to use pharmacy management systems and care management platforms
2nd language spoken preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Effective communication skills - verbal and written

Hospital Requirements (may be required):


(PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months
(MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer provingimmunity
Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
HepB3 Series(or declination)
(Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
