The Department of Chemical Engineering in the Grove School of Engineering at The City College of New York (CCNY) of the City University of New York (CUNY) is seeking highly qualified candidates for a full-time tenure-track faculty position to be filled at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, to begin in Fall 2025. Outstanding candidates in any research area will be considered. The department has identified the following research target areas: (i) materials engineering, ii) renewable energy, (iii) environmental sustainability, (iv) energy systems integration, (v) bioengineering, and (vi) flexible manufacturing.
The Department has active research programs in: Energy & Environment, Materials & Interfaces, and Biomolecules & Biotechnology (https://www.ccny.cuny.edu/chemeng/research). The position would form part of the core faculty of the Department of Chemical Engineering with potential affiliation with the Levich Institute (https://levich.ccny.cuny.edu/) and/or the CUNY Energy Institute (https://www1.cuny.edu/sites/energy/).
The candidate is expected to contribute to teaching in Chemical Engineering at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and also to develop course offerings related to their expertise. The candidate will also serve on committees related to administrative, supervisory, and other functions.
