    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
    - Under the direction of a radiologist, the CT Technologist performs COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY examinations accurately, independently, and efficiently.

    From basic screening tests to cutting-edge procedures, our state-of-the art equipment, skilled technologists and diverse, world-class academic radiologists deliver timely, accurate results.
    All of UW Medicine’s radiologists are board-certified and specialize in a variety of areas such as neuroradiology, body radiology, interventional radiology, musculoskeletal radiology, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammography and chest radiology. Imaging findings are integrated with all clinical data to generate comprehensive and actionable patient assessments.

    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepares patient and independently performs CT exams & procedures
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment
  • Coordinates and optimizes customer service and workflow
  • Set up and clean exam rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are ready
  • Assist with training and mentoring new personnel and students

    REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    - Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist
    - Satisfactory completion of formal technology training in an AMA approved school, registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR equivalent education/experience
