<strong>What you will do: </strong>

<li>Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing various federal tax compliance and consulting services to BT</li>
<ul>
<li>Provide tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships.</li>
<li>Participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax issues, help to draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries</li>
<li>Team with leaders on special projects in various areas of flow through taxation </li>
<li>Develop recommendations to consider and share with leadership to discuss and strategize</li>
<li>Communicate and team with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters in the state and local, high net worth, international, research and development along with credits and incentives areas</li></ul>
<li>Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs</li>
<li>Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally </li>
<li>Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals</li>

<strong>Qualifications</strong>
<br>
<br>
<strong>Successful candidates will have:</strong>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in accounting or law, or a related degree in business, and <strong>sufficient course work and credits to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam in the state you are being considered</strong></li>
<li>CPA license preferred</li>
<li>One (1)+ year(s) of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm preferred</li>
<li>Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving</li>
<li>Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability</li>
<li>Microsoft Suite skills</li>
<li>There is currently no immigration sponsorship available for this position</li></ul>
<strong>Additional Information</strong>
<br>
<br>For California, Colorado, New York and Washington: The compensation range for this role is $61,070 to $105,480. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.<br>
