JOB REQUIREMENTS: Director of Technology Location Madison, Wisconsin
Travel 0-5% Responsibilities Leadership & Relationship Building: Manage
a team through hiring, performance management, development, training,
and succession planning. Set the energy level and sense of urgency
within the team and foster relationships with key technology partners
external to Tyler Technologies, as well as peer Directors of Technology
at Tyler Technologies portals. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a
strategic technology plan aligned with business objectives, including
technology roadmaps. Alignment with Operations: Execute strategies
directed by the Director of Operations and General Manager, fostering
collaboration across departments. Objective Setting: Set clear
objectives and goals for the organization and direct reports, tracking
accomplishments and metrics of teams. Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate Tyler Technologies and Portal strategy, key initiatives, and
culture to the portal technology team, partners, and Tyler Technologies
executive leadership team, as well as state and local government partner
agencies. Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to industry and
corporate standards such as SOX, NIST, PCI/DSS, and HIPAA in all
technology solutions and adherence to technical requirements of our
contracts. Infrastructure Management: Lead the administration,
computing, data, and communications network within a Tier IV data
facility, supporting high volumes of Internet traffic and e-commerce
transactions. Application Development: Direct the development and
deployment of all products and services, overseeing the entire lifecycle
from conception to implementation. Quality Control: Implement and
oversee a comprehensive quality control environment to ensure the
reliability and integrity of technology solutions. Project Management:
Manage multiple high-priority, deadline-driven tasks efficiently and
effectively. Financial Planning: Conduct annual financial and resource
planning for the technology organization to support business
initiatives. Drive Innovation: Lead innovation efforts by delivering new
products and services utilizing emerging and leading-edge technologies.
Service Level Agreement (SLA) Compliance: Ensure contractual SLAs are
met for metrics including system availability, application response
time, and financial processing accuracy. Qualifications Preferred
undergraduate (or graduate) degree in Computer Science or related
discipline. Accumulated a minimum of 10 years\' job-related experience.
