Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in software development, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in program management.
- Experience managing projects in a technical/software engineering environment.
- Experience coordinating, managing, and facilitating communication between teams.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with program management (e.g., planning, execution, estimation, risk management, stakeholder management).
- Ability to produce frameworks and documents that communicate status, scope, timelines, task planning, action items, risks, issues, project dependencies, test planning, or rollout planning.
- Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Engineering, Product Managers, Directors, and Tech Lead/Managers to accelerate execution.
- Manage the portfolio planning and prioritization. Partnering with Engineering and Product teams to drive Roadmap/OKR planning, milestones, and software schedules.
- Represent the team, present proposals with cross-site, cross-Product Area, and executive audiences.
- Design processes and improve communication.
- Partner and build relationships across functional, organizational, and product area boundaries.
