Job Description:
Need 6 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Olivia, MN.
From: 02/01/2024 - 11/30/2024
Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Overtime and taking holiday is mandatory.
Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
As required in Minnesota, all hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.
ESST LAW: Employers must provide each employee in Minnesota, one hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours a year.

NOTE:

JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs duties like drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Drive trucks to transport crops, supplies, tools or workers. May be asked to pick rock or walk crop for weed. Will have to fix and maintain equipment. May be asked to clean equipment as well as the trucks and shop area.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
