An enterprise level sports retail company is looking to add a Sr Software Engineer to a team of 11 engineers, who are focusing on building a bill of materials application. This person will be the primary subject matter expert for the API centric application, leading the development. To be successful this person will need to be strongly proficient in NodeJS, AWS, Java, JavaScript, React.js, Dynamo/Mongo DB, and be able to build high performing microservices. In addition to being a highly productive Sr Software Engineer on this team, this role also requires this person to facilitate collaboration between front and backend engineering teams; making it crucial to have a Fullstack background. Additional responsibilities include mentoring other engineers on the team, being apart of product demos to stakeholders, and facilitating between Insight Global Project Managers supporting this work and the clients technical development.

8+ years as a back-end focused Software Engineer.
5+ years of experience developing with NodeJS and Java
5+ of experience as a Software Engineer in an AWS centric environment
3-4+ years of experience with JavaScript and React.js
Experience building high performing microservices.
Must Have experience building API prioritized applications.
