LONG ISLAND SCHOOLS - Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) to join our team; no prior experience is necessary. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with school-aged children and families in our award-winning school district. The ideal candidate will be working within a "unified" school district and will be committed to ensuring that our students receive the highest quality education. OPEN ROLES: Certified Nurse Assistant Full time, Part time, Per Diem, and Split shifts available! LOCATIONS: Nassau County- multiple locations! Suffolk County- multiple locations! Westchester County- multiple locations! DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS A SCHOOL NURSE: Working 1:1 with students with disabilities, be caring and compassionate Assisting students with classroom routines, class work, engagement activities etc Monitoring and recording evidence of students condition, learning and progress Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse Provide emotional support and comfort Patience with children with disabilities and special needs Toileting assistance of students if needed REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Updated Resume Current NYS CNA license Up to date CPR card Fingerprinting Up-to-date medical documentation (i.e., physical, titers, quantiFERON) BENEFITS & INCENTIVES: Health Insurance- Medical, Dental, and Vision (for those who qualify) 401k Paid time off Referral bonus program Premium pay rates Flexible schedule 24/7 Staffing support
