JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: University Health Services is seeking a
motivated Mental Health Communication Strategist to join our Marketing &
Health Communications team. If you are passionate about supporting the
mental health of college students and enjoy creative problem solving
around effective messaging, this may be the position for you. The Mental
Health Communication Strategist sets the agenda for mental health
messaging on behalf of UHS. This person works collaboratively with
mental health providers, practitioners, and communications colleagues to
develop evidence-based health communication and marketing campaigns.
This individual will organize and prioritize mental health campaigns in
alignment with UHS-wide objectives. They will work closely with the
Mental Health team and campus partners to plan and execute messaging
related to the mental health promotion. Work will also involve
coordination of UHS outreach efforts across UW-Madison.
Responsibilities: Develops and drafts communication content and assists
in the execution of the communications strategy in support of unit
communication goals. 15% Monitors reach and effectiveness of
communication campaigns, projects, and initiatives 20% Plans editorial
content according to established goals and objects 15% Communicates with
stakeholders to verify requests and identify editorial resources 30%
Writes, edits, and publishes content for various communication projects
and marketing platforms to align with strategic initiatives and
established communication campaigns 20% Provides project management and
execution of communications programs, initiatives, and tactical plans
