Position Summary
The department is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part-time temporary teaching positions.

Major Responsibilities
The department typically hires for the courses/subject areas listed below but this list is not all-inclusive. Other courses/subject areas may become available within the department.

ILLUSTRATIVE NEEDS INCLUDE:
  • Activity/Theory Course Instructors
  • Student Teacher Supervisors
  • Adapted PE Lab Instructors

A classroom-based 3-credit hour course pays $4000 per class.

A 1-credit hour activity course pays $1333 per class.

Student Teaching Supervision pays $400 per placement (1 placement = 1 student for one 8-week quarter).
Functional and Supervisory Relationships
Required Qualifications
Appropriate level of experience and/or Master’s degree.

Student Teacher Supervisors must have experience teaching physical education.
Preferred Qualifications
Terminal degree preferred.
