Job Description:
Senior Compensation AnalystAs part of our Total Rewards team, the Senior Compensation Analyst will play a crucial role in the development, implementation, and optimization of the company's compensation programs. You will ensure that the organization's compensation strategies align with business objectives, remain competitive in the market, and contribute to the attraction, retention, and motivation of top talent. In addition, you will conduct thorough data analysis, provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership, and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Ultimately, this role contributes to the Total Rewards team's mission of fostering an equitable, transparent, and performance-driven environment that supports the overall success and growth of the organization.This role is located at our Arden Hills, MN corporate headquarters (hybrid work arrangement each week)Your responsibilities:Develop, implement, and continuously improve our compensation strategies and programs including our salary structures, job architecture, job design, incentives, and overall compensation philosophy. Partner internally with HR and business leaders to clearly define and articulate our opportunities. Conduct external market research and benchmarking to ensure we're competitive and aligned with best practices.Own the evaluation and classification of positions to ensure internal equity, external market competitiveness, and alignment with our compensation philosophy. Lead compensation compliance through job evaluation, pay equity audits, and staying abreast of changes in legislation and industry standards. Participate in compensation salary surveys.Analyze compensation data, maintain data integrity, and create data narratives to provide insights and recommendations to senior leaders. Provide subject matter expertise on compensation topics and serve as a change and communications resource. Leverage in-depth business acumen to serve as a consultant to our business leaders and our HR Business Advisors.Lead compensation projects on topics such as job architecture, job design, compensation philosophy/strategy, pay equity, pay transparency, incentive effectiveness, and compensation education. Lead, drive, and direct change within the organization, from a compensation standpoint.Own and manage annual compensation processes such as merit base pay increases and short-term incentives. Ownership entails planning, data analytics, communication, education and system configuration (Workday).Experience/Qualifications:Bachelors Degree required.5 years of experience working in Compensation, Finance and/or Total Rewards.Experience partnering with and working with Human Resources and Finance functionsExperience with Workday and Workday Advanced Compensation (bonuses and merit).Experience establishing, developing, or enhancing a job architecture, variable pay plans, sales incentive plans.Established knowledge of general compensation principles, practices and regulations.Proficiency in data analysis and advanced Excel skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.Strong attention to detail and the ability the think strategicallyAbout Land O'Lakes, Inc.Join us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
