We are looking for:

As a General Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and machinery within the facility. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in upholding safety standards and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.

We can count on you for:

  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair:
  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of equipment and machinery, including but not limited to pumps, motors, valves, compressors, and conveyors.
  • Safety Compliance Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to create a safe work environment. Report any safety hazards, incidents, or near-misses immediately to the appropriate personnel. Shift-Based Work: Be prepared to work in various shift hours, including 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, based on the plant's operational needs.
  • Investigate equipment malfunctions and breakdowns to identify the root cause and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team and the supply chain department to ensure adequate stock of spare parts and consumables required for routine maintenance and repairs. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and equipment history. Generate reports as necessary for management review.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting and implementing efficiency-enhancing measures and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance personnel, engineers, and production teams to ensure seamless operations and support plant-wide initiatives.

  • Familiarity with control systems, ladder logic, and drive systems
  • Ability to read blueprints, P&ID’s, and other drawings
  • Creative and innovative approach to addressing issues
  • Strong problem solving abilities for mechanical and electrical applications.

You will get:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $37.50 to $41.37 per hour. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
