Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Operations/Manufacturing Engineer join a premier manufacturer of ammunition to the United States Military. As an Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and updating operator procedures, addressing daily production issues, researching and designing systems for continuous improvement, investigating equipment failures and making recommendations, coordinating with external customers, and developing and maintaining process layouts. You will work onsite at the Middletown, Iowa facility, where you will ensure the safe and high-quality production of ammunition for the U.S. Military.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field

- Minimum of 3-4 years of Manufacturing/Operations Engineering Experience

- Knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, AutoCAD or other 3D Drawing/Modeling software.

- Demonstrated experience in leading and implementing engineering solutions to improve production efficiency and quality, with quantifiable results and impact. For example, led a project that reduced equipment downtime by 15% and saved $50,000 in maintenance costs.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- A bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
