Material Planner

We are actively seeking a Material Planner to join our team in Benson, MN.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities Include:
Develop suppliers in regards to improving their delivery performance
Analyze MRP to ensure firm period schedule changes get incorporated into the supplier delivery schedule
Firm orders in a timely fashion to allow the suppliers enough time to fulfill CNH's needs
Minimize obsolescence exposure for parts that engineering intends on changing
Coordinate expedites from suppliers as needed to support production needs
Maintain appropriate inventory levels ensuring the suppliers ship on time
Work with suppliers to ensure they can meet the future capacity needs
The annual salary for this role is $62,000 to $90,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
Qualifications
The qualified candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree - preferably in Logistics Engineering OR High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years Material Planning experience
The ideal candidate will have:
Adept at IT systems and Microsoft Office products - Access, Power Point, Excel, Word, Visio and Project.
Knowledge of Auto Cad preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self- starter demonstrates initiative and commitment.
Excellent organizational and management skills, about to work in fast paced, team environment.
