This could involve implementing new software systems, streamlining processes, or integrating new transportation methods.Determining the best course of action for logistical challenges, leveraging data-driven insights and your industry expertise to make informed decisions. Whether it's route optimization, inventory management, or supplier selection, your decisions will drive the success of the operation.Supporting various stakeholders across the organization, ensuring seamless coordination between different departments such as procurement, warehousing, and distribution. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining smooth operations and addressing any issues that may arise.Identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with key suppliers, carriers, and service providers. By establishing strong relationships, you can negotiate favorable terms, secure reliable services, and stay ahead of market trends. These partnerships will not only optimize costs but also enhance the flexibility and resilience of the supply chain, enabling the organization to adapt to changing business needs and market dynamics more effectively.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field AND 10 years of job-related experienceANDIn addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:Familiarity with logistics and supply chain management software systemsKnowledge of local, national, and international regulations governing logistics operations, including transportation regulations, import/export laws, customs procedures, and environmental regulationsAbility to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, such as supply chain disruptions, transportation delays, inventory shortages, and security threatsCommitment to continuous improvement and a mindset of innovation to identify opportunities for enhancing logistics processes, reducing costs, and increasing efficiencyExperience in project management methodologies and practices for planning, executing, and monitoring logistics projects and initiativesAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institutionSkills include the following:Ability to inspire and motivate teams, delegate effectively, and lead by exampleExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAdept at identifying challenges, analyzing root causes, and implementing effective solutionsFlexibility to adjust strategies and tactics in response to changing market conditions, customer needs, and unforeseen disruptionsSkilled in building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goalsWork location:Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood, MN or closest facility at least 1 - 3 days per week)Travel: May include up to 15% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to...Equal Opportunity Employer - minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
