Job Description:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Electrical Design Intern will work with and support one or more Designers in our Engineering and Design department. This position is based at our Duluth, MN office and can be up to full-time hours if desired. The goal of this internship is to provide an understanding of the engineering process of design by performing layout, design and modeling of a wide variety of electrical projects including lighting design and power distribution.

Prints, plots, scans and assists in the creation of electrical drawings and models using Revit software.
Coordinates with team members and creates working drawings from models.
Works from engineer’s markups and sketches.
Ensures outputs meet the required standards and agreed upon deadlines.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pursuing degree in electrical engineering or relevant electrical design and Revit experience.
- Basic knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Revit software a plus.
- An interest in learning engineering applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet daily deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter and able to work independently and in team environment.
