We are on the hunt for a diligent Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio. In this crucial role, you will be overseeing the execution of compensation, benefits, and performance management systems. Your key responsibilities will also include managing recruitment, administering disciplinary procedures, advising on organizational policy matters, and maintaining personnel-related records.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the application and maintenance of compensation and benefits policies to ensure competitive programs and legal compliance.
• Coordinate and facilitate Personnel Action Committee (PAC) meetings and reports.
• Manage recruitment and selection processes, including testing and objective evaluation methods.
• Provide detailed information to current and prospective associates on policies, job duties, working conditions, wage structures, and opportunities for promotion.
• Resolve staffing issues, mediate disputes, and administer disciplinary procedures when necessary.
• Advise management on critical organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and propose necessary changes.
• Implement a robust new associate orientation program to foster a positive attitude towards the organization and its objectives.
• Maintain a strong link between management and associates to address questions, interpret policies and procedures, and assist in resolving work-related problems.
• Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities relating to employment, compensation, and associate relations.
• Design and oversee the implementation of training programs to ensure associate and leadership development, including legal compliance.
• Maintain and analyze personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
• Represent the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
• Prepare and manage budgets for administrative department operations.
• Develop classification and evaluation systems for all positions and oversee the evaluation process.
• Study legislation and employment law revisions to ensure compliance.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Human Resources role
• Extensive understanding of HCM
• Experience and expertise in Benefit Functions
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven ability to enforce and maintain compliance in all aspects of HR
• Strong skills in managing employee relations
• Experience in overseeing hiring processes
• Prior experience in corporate recruiting is required
