Job Description:
Position SummaryOur Fiber Technicians are responsible for completing neat and accurate cable splicing and testing, including fiber optic and copper, to assist in coordinating the details of fiber splicing contract jobs, and to lead portions of projects.QualificationsYou are required to have:One or more years of fiber splicing experienceOne or more years experience of installation, repair, disconnection of various communication servicesKnowledge of fiber optic theories, telecommunications network structures, and construction mapsWillingness to travel and work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekendsBe at least 18 years of ageValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordAdditional preferred qualifications::Associate degree in telecommunications, electronics, or relatedScheduleHours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM.
