POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technician provides support to execute objectives related to trail and
open space management as well as Department wide plans that support the City
of Glenwood Springs strategic vision.
Perform entry level work in the stewardship of open spaces, trails,
gardens, and associated public amenities. Daily duties will focus on the
maintenance and improvement of City assets. Receives instruction and
technical advice from the Trails and Open Space Supervisor. Individuals are
expected to work in a safe and efficient manner. This position may require
hiking or biking up to 4+ hours per day, carrying a backpack and hand
tools, and working outside in inclement weather and in mountainous terrain.
